🍽️ Juicy Steak Sandwiches with Crispy Radishes and Avocado

Ingredients
- 4 radishes
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- 2 sirloin steaks (á approx. 200 g)
- pepper (from the mill)
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 2 avocados
- coarse sea salt
- 1 handful of pea leaves
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the radishes and remove the tough stems.
- 2. Slice the radishes into very thin rounds.
- 3. Place the radish slices into a bowl.
- 4. Pour the lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and a pinch of salt over them.
- 5. Mix everything well and let the radishes marinate for about 30 minutes.
- 6. Rinse the steaks and pat them completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 7. Heat a grill pan over high heat and cook the steaks in the remaining oil.
- 8. Cook each steak for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, depending on your preferred level of doneness.
- 9. Season the steaks with salt and pepper after cooking.
- 10. Wrap the steaks in aluminum foil and let them rest for 10 minutes.
- 11. Switch the oven to the grill function and toast the bread briefly.
- 12. Halve the avocado, remove the pit, and peel it.
- 13. Slice the avocado flesh into thin pieces.
- 14. Slice the rested steaks into thin pieces as well.
- 15. Distribute the steak slices, avocado slices, and marinated radishes onto the toasted bread.
- 16. Finally, sprinkle the sandwiches with a little sea salt.
- 17. Garnish the finished sandwiches with fresh pea shoots and serve.
