🍽️ Steak with Baked Potatoes

Ingredients
- 4 large floury potatoes
- 1 tbsp oil
- 4 sirloin steaks (approx. 160 g each)
- 2 tbsp butter
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 150 g crème fraîche
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp whipping cream
- 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley
Instructions
- 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and parboil them with the skin in salted water for 20 minutes.
- 2. Drain the potatoes, let them steam off briefly, wrap them in aluminum foil, and bake them in the preheated oven at 220 °C for about 35 minutes.
- 3. Sear the steaks in a hot pan with butter for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- 4. Mix the crème fraîche with cream, lemon juice, and chopped parsley, then season with salt and pepper.
- 5. Remove the potatoes from the oven and unwrap them. Plate the steaks along with the potatoes and a small salad, adding a dollop of the herb crème fraîche on top of each potato.
