🍽️ Celery Stalks with Tomato and Taleggio Cheese Bake

Ingredients
- 1 kg celery stalks
- salt
- 6 tomatoes
- 150 g Taleggio
- 50 ml dry white wine
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the celery stalks thoroughly.
- 2. Remove the tough outer strings and the ends.
- 3. Cut the celery into pieces approximately 14 centimeters long.
- 4. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
- 5. Boil the celery pieces in it for about 6 minutes.
- 6. The celery should remain crisp-tender, so do not overcook it.
- 7. Turn on the oven and set it to 200 degrees Celsius with top heat.
- 8. Wash the tomatoes under running water.
- 9. Remove the hard stem attachment at the top.
- 10. Dip the tomatoes briefly into the boiling water used for the celery.
- 11. Remove them immediately and shock them with cold water.
- 12. Peel the skin off the tomatoes.
- 13. Cut the tomatoes into quarters.
- 14. Remove the inner core containing the seeds.
- 15. Dice the tomato flesh into small pieces.
- 16. Remove the rind from the Taleggio cheese.
- 17. Dice the cheese into small pieces as well.
- 18. Mix the diced tomatoes and cheese with the white wine.
- 19. Drain the cooked celery.
- 20. Let the celery drain well.
- 21. Place the celery pieces side by side in a baking dish.
- 22. Place the tomato and cheese mixture in the center on top of the celery.
- 23. Place the dish in the oven for about 8 minutes.
- 24. The cheese should start to melt.
- 25. Season the dish to taste with fresh pepper.
- 26. Serve the dish warm.
