  1. 1. Clean the gooseberries, finely chop the spring onions and chili pepper. Put all ingredients in a pot and simmer over low heat, stirring constantly, for 35-40 minutes. Fill into jars while still hot.
  2. 2. It keeps in the refrigerator for 5-6 weeks.
  3. 3. Ideal with grilled dishes or boiled beef.
