🍽️ Gooseberry Chutney

Ingredients
- 1 kg gooseberries
- 3 bunch spring onions
- 1 chili pepper
- 2 tsp ginger (freshly grated)
- 1 tbsp mustard seeds
- 400 g brown sugar
- 1 tsp curry
- 2 tbsp salt
- 100 ml wine vinegar
Instructions
- 1. Clean the gooseberries, finely chop the spring onions and chili pepper. Put all ingredients in a pot and simmer over low heat, stirring constantly, for 35-40 minutes. Fill into jars while still hot.
- 2. It keeps in the refrigerator for 5-6 weeks.
- 3. Ideal with grilled dishes or boiled beef.
