🍽️ Savoy Cabbage with Morels and Chicken

Ingredients
- 100 g fresh morel
- 100 g onions (2 onions)
- 300 g chicken breast fillet (2 chicken breast fillets)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 kg pointed cabbage (1 pointed cabbage)
- 125 ml classic vegetable broth
- 2 sprigs rosemary
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the morels several times in clear water.
- 2. Let the water drain off.
- 3. Clean the morels of dirt.
- 4. Halve the morels lengthwise.
- 5. Peel the onions.
- 6. Halve the onions.
- 7. Slice the onions into thin rounds.
- 8. Wash the chicken breast fillets.
- 9. Pat the meat dry with kitchen paper.
- 10. Halve the fillets horizontally.
- 11. Heat one tablespoon of olive oil in a pot.
- 12. Add the onion slices to the pot.
- 13. Sauté the onions briefly.
- 14. Place the chicken meat on top of the onions.
- 15. Cover the pot.
- 16. Cook the meat on low heat for 8 to 10 minutes.
- 17. Clean the savoy cabbage.
- 18. Quarter the savoy cabbage.
- 19. Cut out the hard core.
- 20. Cut the cabbage into strips about 2 centimeters wide.
- 21. Remove the chicken meat from the pot.
- 22. Place the meat on a plate.
- 23. Add the savoy cabbage to the onions in the pot.
- 24. Add the morels to the onions in the pot.
- 25. Pour vegetable broth into the pot.
- 26. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 27. Cover the pot.
- 28. Cook the vegetables on low heat for about 8 minutes.
- 29. Wash the rosemary.
- 30. Shake the rosemary dry.
- 31. Pluck the rosemary needles from the stems.
- 32. Shred the chicken meat into thin strips using two forks.
- 33. Heat the remaining oil in a non-stick pan.
- 34. Fry the rosemary needles briefly over medium heat.
- 35. Add the chicken meat to the pan.
- 36. Toss the meat well.
- 37. Salt the chicken meat.
- 38. Season the savoy cabbage and morel dish with salt.
- 39. Season the savoy cabbage and morel dish with pepper.
- 40. Plate the vegetables.
- 41. Place the chicken meat on top of the vegetables.
