🍽️ Fresh Citrus Spinach Salad

Ingredients
- 2 Grapefruits
- 2 Lemons
- 4 Oranges
- 2 red Onions
- 1 Spinach
- 200 ml Orange Juice
- 4 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tsp dried Chili Flakes
- 70 g Almond Slivers (golden roasted)
- Cilantro Leaves (for garnishing)
- Salt
Instructions
- 1. Peel the citrus fruits using a sharp knife. Make sure to remove all the white pith.
- 2. Slice the peeled fruits.
- 3. Arrange the fruit slices decoratively on shallow salad plates.
- 4. Peel the onions.
- 5. Slice the onions into very thin rings.
- 6. Distribute the onion rings over the fruit.
- 7. Wash the spinach thoroughly.
- 8. Remove any damaged or wilted leaves.
- 9. Spin the spinach dry.
- 10. Add the dry spinach to the fruit on the plates.
- 11. Whisk the orange juice, oil, sugar, and salt together in a small bowl.
- 12. Season the dressing mixture with salt to taste.
- 13. Pour the dressing over the citrus fruits and spinach.
- 14. Sprinkle paprika flakes and slivered almonds over the salad.
- 15. Cover the plates.
- 16. Let the salad marinate for about 15 minutes.
- 17. Garnish the finished salad with fresh coriander.
