  1. 1. Remove all tough stems and wilted leaves from the spinach.
  2. 2. Wash the spinach thoroughly in cold water to remove any dirt.
  3. 3. Peel the garlic cloves of their skin.
  4. 4. Slice the garlic into very thin pieces.
  5. 5. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  6. 6. Add the washed spinach and the sliced garlic to the hot pan.
  7. 7. Simmer the vegetables for about 10 minutes until the spinach has wilted.
  8. 8. Season the finished spinach with a pinch of salt.
  9. 9. Add freshly ground black pepper.
  10. 10. Drizzle lemon juice over the spinach and stir everything well.
