🥗 Fresh Spinach and Pear Salad with Walnuts

Ingredients
- 300 g Baby spinach
- 4 ripe pears
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 80 g walnut kernels
- 5 tbsp walnut oil
- 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- salt
- pepper (freshly ground)
- hard cheese (to taste, e.g. Parmesan)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the spinach thoroughly.
- 2. Remove the tough stems from the spinach.
- 3. Spin the spinach dry.
- 4. Wash the pears.
- 5. Cut the pears in half.
- 6. Remove the core from the pear halves.
- 7. Cut the pears into thin wedges.
- 8. Drizzle the pear wedges with lemon juice.
- 9. Divide the spinach among four plates.
- 10. Place the pear wedges on top of the spinach.
- 11. Sprinkle the walnut kernels over the salad.
- 12. Shave the cheese over the salad.
- 13. Mix the oil with the balsamic vinegar.
- 14. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 15. Whisk the vinaigrette briefly until creamy.
- 16. Drizzle the vinaigrette spoonful by spoonful over the salads.
- 17. Serve the salad immediately.
