🥗 Creamy Spinach-Pear Salad with Blue Cheese and Walnuts

Ingredients
- 300 g young spinach
- 2 lettuce hearts
- 2 pears
- 1 apple
- 200 g blue cheese
- 100 g walnut kernels
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 4 tbsp nut oil
- 1 tsp honey
- salt
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the spinach and leaf salad under running water.
- 2. Remove any tough stems or wilted parts from the greens.
- 3. Tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces if they are still too large.
- 4. Spin the greens dry so that the salad does not become watery.
- 5. Wash the pears and the apple under running water.
- 6. Cut the pears and the apple each into four quarters.
- 7. Remove the core (the hard central area with seeds) from the quarters.
- 8. Cut the pears into thin wedges or slices.
- 9. Peel the apple.
- 10. Cut the peeled apple into small, even cubes.
- 11. Cut the blue cheese into small cubes.
- 12. Distribute the washed salad ingredients onto plates.
- 13. Decoratively arrange the pear wedges, apple cubes, cheese cubes, and walnuts on top of the salad.
- 14. Whisk the vinegar with the lemon juice in a small bowl.
- 15. Add the oil to the vinegar-lemon mixture.
- 16. Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of water to the dressing mixture.
- 17. Add the honey to the mixture.
- 18. Whisk the dressing vigorously with a spoon or whisk until well combined.
- 19. Season the dressing to taste with salt.
- 20. Drizzle the finished dressing evenly over the plated salad.
- 21. Serve the salad immediately while fresh.
