🍽️ Heart-shaped Spiegelei Toast with Pepper Garnish

Ingredients
- 4 slices toast bread
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 8 quail eggs
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 red bell pepper
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- 1. Take a heart-shaped cookie cutter that is 5 by 5 centimeters in size.
- 2. Cut a heart out of the center of each toast slice.
- 3. Toast the slices until they are golden brown.
- 4. Wash the bell pepper thoroughly.
- 5. Cut the bell pepper in half.
- 6. Remove the seeds and the white inner walls.
- 7. Cut four hearts out of the pepper flesh using the same heart-shaped cutter.
- 8. Heat the oil in a frying pan.
- 9. Place the heart-shaped cutter into the hot pan.
- 10. Crack two quail eggs into the cutter.
- 11. Fry the eggs into a sunny-side-up egg.
- 12. Season the sunny-side-up egg lightly with salt and pepper.
- 13. Repeat the process with the remaining eggs.
- 14. Lightly spread butter on the toast slices.
- 15. Place the sunny-side-up eggs in the center of the cut-out hearts.
- 16. Place one pepper heart on top as decoration.
- 17. Serve the toast immediately.
