Ingredients
- 1 Napa cabbage (500 g)
- 1 tsp fine sea salt
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 20 g ginger
- 1 red chili pepper
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 1 tsp agave syrup
- 1 lime (juice)
- 0.5 tsp sugar
- 1 ripe mango
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the napa cabbage.
- 2. Cut the cabbage in half and remove the hard core.
- 3. Cut the vegetable into small pieces.
- 4. Place the cabbage pieces into a bowl.
- 5. Sprinkle the cabbage with sea salt.
- 6. Mix the salt thoroughly into the cabbage with your hands.
- 7. Press the cabbage firmly to release the water.
- 8. Let the cabbage sit for three hours.
- 9. Peel the onion, garlic, and ginger.
- 10. Dice the onion, garlic, and ginger finely.
- 11. Rinse the chili pepper.
- 12. Remove the seeds from the chili and dice it.
- 13. Add the chopped vegetables and chili to the cabbage.
- 14. Stir everything well.
- 15. Add soy sauce, paprika powder, agave syrup, lime juice, and sugar.
- 16. Mix all ingredients together.
- 17. Peel the mango.
- 18. Cut the flesh away from the pit.
- 19. Cut the mango flesh into small pieces.
- 20. Mix the mango pieces into the cabbage.
