🍽️ Asparagus with Ham

Ingredients
- 500 g green asparagus
- 500 g asparagus
- salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp butter
- 125 g salted butter
- 600 g cat ham (in slices)
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the asparagus under running water.
- 2. Peel the white asparagus completely and cut off the tough lower ends.
- 3. For the green asparagus, peel only the lower third and also cut off the ends.
- 4. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add some sugar and butter.
- 5. Add the white asparagus to the boiling water and cook it for about 20 minutes.
- 6. Add the green asparagus later, as it only needs about 12 to 15 minutes of cooking time.
- 7. Remove the asparagus from the water and let it drain well.
- 8. Melt the butter in a small pan or saucepan.
- 9. Serve the drained asparagus together with the ham and the melted butter.
