  1. 1. Thoroughly wash the asparagus spears.
  2. 2. Cut off the woody ends of the spears.
  3. 3. Cut the remaining asparagus spears into small pieces.
  4. 4. Remove the core of the melon using a spoon.
  5. 5. Cut the melon into wedges.
  6. 6. Cut the flesh away from the rind.
  7. 7. Dice the melon flesh roughly.
  8. 8. Rinse the orange under hot water.
  9. 9. Dry the orange with a cloth.
  10. 10. Peel the orange skin finely.
  11. 11. Use a julienne peeler for this.
  12. 12. Wash the lemon balm.
  13. 13. Shake the leaves dry.
  14. 14. Set aside a few leaves for decoration.
  15. 15. Quarter the orange.
  16. 16. Cut the fruit flesh away from the peel.
  17. 17. Place the orange in the juicer.
  18. 18. Add the lemon balm.
  19. 19. Add the asparagus pieces.
  20. 20. Add the melon cubes.
  21. 21. Juice all the ingredients.
  22. 22. Pour the juice into a long drink glass.
  23. 23. Add ice cubes to the glass.
  24. 24. Stir the juice with the ice.
  25. 25. Garnish the glass with the orange peel.
  26. 26. Garnish the glass with the reserved lemon balm leaves.
