🍽️ Chinese-style Spareribs with Honey Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 kg pork spare ribs (ready for cooking)
- 60 ml soy sauce
- 4 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp rice wine
- 2 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the spare ribs thoroughly.
- 2. Pat the ribs dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Place the ribs side by side in a shallow baking dish.
- 4. Mix the soy sauce with the honey.
- 5. Add the hoisin sauce to the mixture.
- 6. Stir in the rice vinegar.
- 7. Pour in the rice wine.
- 8. Add the garlic.
- 9. Whisk the marinade until well combined.
- 10. Coat the spare ribs completely with the marinade.
- 11. Cover the dish.
- 12. Place the ribs in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours.
- 13. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- 14. Place the baking dish in the oven.
- 15. Bake the ribs for about 20 minutes.
- 16. Use the top and bottom heat setting.
- 17. Take the dish out of the oven occasionally.
- 18. Brush the ribs with the remaining marinade.
- 19. Remove the dish from the oven.
- 20. Let the ribs cool down.
- 21. Heat oil in a pan or a deep fryer.
- 22. Fry the cooled ribs for about 3 minutes.
- 23. Serve the spare ribs immediately.
