  1. 1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  2. 2. Add salt to the boiling water.
  3. 3. Cook the spaghettini in it until they are al dente (firm to the bite).
  4. 4. Follow the cooking time specified on the package.
  5. 5. Cut the olives into small strips.
  6. 6. Mix four tablespoons of olive oil with the lemon juice.
  7. 7. Rinse the basil under cold water.
  8. 8. Shake the basil dry.
  9. 9. Set aside a few leaves for garnish.
  10. 10. Finely chop the remaining basil.
  11. 11. Peel the garlic.
  12. 12. Heat the remaining olive oil in a pan.
  13. 13. Briefly sauté the chopped basil in the hot oil.
  14. 14. Press the garlic into the pan.
  15. 15. Drain the cooked pasta.
  16. 16. Let the pasta drip dry well.
  17. 17. Return the pasta to the pot.
  18. 18. Mix the pasta with the oil-lemon mixture.
  19. 19. Add the cut olives.
  20. 20. Add the sautéed basil.
  21. 21. Mix everything with the parmesan.
