Ingredients
- 400 g Spaghetti
- 4 tbsp Olive oil
- 4 Garlic cloves
- 1 Peperoncino
- 3 Tomatoes
- 1 bunch Basil
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Fill a large pot with water, add salt, and bring it to a boil. Peel the garlic cloves and chop them finely. Crumble the chili peppers.
- 2. Wash the tomatoes, remove the stem, cut them into quarters, and remove the core. Then cut the tomato pieces into strips.
- 3. Heat the olive oil in a pan. Add the garlic, tomato strips, and chili peppers, and sauté them briefly. Be careful not to overcook the garlic to prevent it from becoming bitter.
- 4. Remove the pan from the heat. Add the spaghetti to the boiling salted water and cook them according to the package instructions until al dente (firm to the bite).
- 5. Wash the basil, shake it dry, pluck the leaves from the stems, and chop them finely.
- 6. Just before the pasta is done, place the pan back on the stove and heat it. Add 3-4 tablespoons of pasta water and stir everything together.
- 7. Sprinkle the chopped basil over the dish and mix everything thoroughly.
- 8. Serve the spaghetti on pre-warmed plates and enjoy immediately.
