  1. 1. Peel the garlic cloves and slice them thinly.
  2. 2. Wash the parsley and shake it dry thoroughly.
  3. 3. Pluck the parsley leaves from the stems and chop them finely.
  4. 4. Wash the chili peppers and slice them lengthwise.
  5. 5. Remove the seeds and the white inner membranes from the chili peppers.
  6. 6. Dice the deseeded chili peppers into small pieces.
  7. 7. Grate the Parmesan into fine shavings.
  8. 8. Cook the spaghetti in plenty of boiling salted water until firm to the bite (al dente).
  9. 9. Heat the oil in a pan.
  10. 10. Sauté the garlic slices and chili pepper cubes in the hot oil.
  11. 11. Stir the chopped parsley into the vegetables.
  12. 12. Mix the drained pasta with the garlic and parsley mixture.
  13. 13. Serve the spaghetti sprinkled with Parmesan and freshly ground pepper.
