🍝 Spaghetti with Fish and Snow Peas

Ingredients
- 400 g Spaghetti
- 600 g Fish fillet (e.g. Zander, Cod)
- 200 g Snow peas
- Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Ginger (grated)
- 2 tbsp Sesame oil
- 4 tbsp White wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 Clove of garlic (finely chopped)
- 120 g Peanuts (roasted and salted, roughly chopped)
- 4 tbsp Sunflower oil
- 6 tbsp White wine
- Cayenne pepper
Instructions
- 1. Fill a large pot with water and add plenty of salt.
- 2. Cook the spaghetti in the water according to the package instructions until al dente.
- 3. Drain the pasta and rinse it briefly with cold water.
- 4. Let the pasta drain well and set it aside.
- 5. Bring a new pot of salted water to a boil.
- 6. Add the snow peas to the boiling water for about 30 seconds.
- 7. Remove the snow peas and shock them immediately in cold water.
- 8. Cut the snow peas lengthwise into very thin strips.
- 9. Rinse the fish fillet under running water.
- 10. Pat the fish dry with a kitchen towel.
- 11. Cut the fish into bite-sized cubes.
- 12. Mix 4 tablespoons of soy sauce with grated ginger, a little cayenne pepper, vinegar, sesame oil, starch, and sugar to make a marinade.
- 13. Place the fish cubes in the marinade and let them marinate for about 10 minutes.
- 14. Heat 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil in a pan.
- 15. Fry the marinated fish cubes for 2 to 3 minutes.
- 16. Remove the fish from the pan and set it aside.
- 17. Add the remaining oil to the same pan.
- 18. Fry the cut snow peas and peanuts in the oil.
- 19. Add the drained spaghetti to the pan.
- 20. Pour the remaining fish marinade over the pasta.
- 21. Add some white wine and stir everything well.
- 22. Season the mixture with soy sauce and cayenne pepper to taste.
- 23. Add the fried fish back into the pan.
- 24. Serve the dish immediately while warm.
