  1. 1. Remove the dark skin from the calamari, if present.
  2. 2. Wash the calamari thoroughly and pat them dry.
  3. 3. Make small slits in the surface of the squid.
  4. 4. Wash the chili pepper and remove the seeds.
  5. 5. Finely chop the chili and rinse if necessary.
  6. 6. Peel the garlic cloves and slice them thinly.
  7. 7. Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them into quarters.
  8. 8. Bring water to a boil and add salt.
  9. 9. Cook the spaghetti al dente according to the package instructions.
  10. 10. Wash the parsley and pat it dry.
  11. 11. Pluck the parsley leaves and chop them finely.
  12. 12. Heat the oil in a large pan.
  13. 13. Sauté the garlic and chili in the oil.
  14. 14. Add the calamari to the pan.
  15. 15. Fry the squid for about 30 seconds over high heat.
  16. 16. Add the cherry tomatoes and fry for 1-2 minutes.
  17. 17. Lightly salt the tomatoes.
  18. 18. Lift the spaghetti out of the water with a pasta server.
  19. 19. Let the noodles drain briefly.
  20. 20. Add the spaghetti to the pan.
  21. 21. Reserve some pasta cooking water for later.
  22. 22. Add the chopped parsley to the pan.
  23. 23. Mix everything gently.
  24. 24. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  25. 25. Add some pasta cooking water if needed.
  26. 26. Serve the dish as desired.
