🍝 Classic Spaghetti Bolognese

Ingredients
- 350 g minced meat
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- oregano (1/2 tsp each, dried)
- basil (1/2 tsp each, dried)
- thyme (1/2 tsp each, dried)
- marjoram (1/2 tsp each, dried)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 100 ml milk
- 2 cans peeled tomatoes (450 g each)
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 50 ml meat broth (instant)
- 400 g spaghetti
- 2 tbsp chopped basil
Instructions
- 1. Place the minced meat in a bowl.
- 2. Season the meat with the spices.
- 3. Salt and pepper the minced meat to taste.
- 4. Peel the onion and the garlic.
- 5. Finely chop the onion and the garlic.
- 6. Heat the olive oil in a pot.
- 7. Fry the minced meat until crumbly in the hot oil.
- 8. Add the chopped onion and garlic.
- 9. Sauté the vegetables with the meat.
- 10. Deglaze the meat with the milk.
- 11. Add the tomatoes including their juice to the pot.
- 12. Crush the tomatoes slightly.
- 13. Stir the tomato paste into the sauce.
- 14. Add the broth to the sauce.
- 15. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for 1 1/2 hours.
- 16. Add more liquid if necessary.
- 17. Taste the sauce.
- 18. Season the sauce further if needed.
- 19. Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente.
- 20. Drain the pasta.
- 21. Let the pasta drain.
- 22. Serve the pasta with the Bolognese sauce.
- 23. Garnish the dish with fresh basil.
