  3. 3. Place the pot on the stove and heat the water.
  4. 4. Wait until the water is boiling vigorously.
  5. 5. Take a large bowl.
  6. 6. Add the flour to the bowl.
  7. 7. Crack the eggs into the bowl.
  8. 8. Grate some nutmeg over the mixture.
  9. 9. Pour in the milk.
  10. 10. Add a small pinch of salt.
  11. 11. Stir the ingredients quickly with a spoon.
  12. 12. Form a firm dough.
  13. 13. Set the bowl aside.
  14. 14. Let the dough rest for ten minutes.
  15. 15. Take the spätzle press.
  16. 16. Fill the dough into the press.
  17. 17. Hold the press over the boiling water.
  18. 18. Press the dough through the opening in small portions.
  19. 19. Let the spätzle pieces fall into the water.
  20. 20. Continue cooking the spätzle.
  21. 21. Wait until the spätzle rise to the surface of the water.
  22. 22. This only takes a few minutes.
