🍰 Creamy Blue Grape Sorbet

Ingredients
- 180 g Sugar
- 300 ml Water
- 1 piece Cinnamon bark
- 500 g fresh blue grapes
- Juice of one Lemon
- fresh grapes (for garnishing)
- 200 ml Red wine
Instructions
- 1. Put sugar, water, and a cinnamon stick into a pot.
- 2. Bring the mixture to a brief boil.
- 3. Remove the cinnamon stick from the liquid.
- 4. Let the syrup cool down completely.
- 5. Wash the blue grapes thoroughly.
- 6. Remove the seeds from the grapes.
- 7. Puree the seeded grapes in a blender until smooth.
- 8. Stir the lemon juice into the grape mixture.
- 9. Add the cooled sugar syrup to the grape mixture.
- 10. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker.
- 11. Let the ice cream maker freeze the sorbet until creamy.
- 12. Alternatively, pour the mixture into a wide metal bowl.
- 13. Place the bowl in the freezer compartment.
- 14. Wait for about 30 minutes.
- 15. Stir the mixture vigorously with a whisk or an electric hand mixer.
- 16. Place the bowl back in the freezer compartment.
- 17. Repeat the stirring process regularly.
- 18. Stop when the desired consistency is reached.
- 19. Add 200 milliliters of good red wine to the finished sorbet mixture.
- 20. Let the mixture start to freeze slightly.
- 21. Fill the semi-liquid sorbet into glasses.
- 22. Halve fresh grapes.
- 23. Garnish the glasses with the halved grapes.
