  2. 2. Grind the beans into a fine paste.
  3. 3. Transfer the soybean paste into a pot.
  4. 4. Pour 1 liter of water over the beans.
  5. 5. Bring the mixture to a boil on the stove.
  6. 6. Reduce the heat and let the liquid simmer gently for about 20 minutes.
  7. 7. Pour the cooked mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl.
  8. 8. Squeeze out the remaining liquid from the bean residue.
  9. 9. Stir in sugar to taste to sweeten the milk.
  10. 10. Let the soy milk cool down to room temperature.
  11. 11. Place the milk in the refrigerator for about 1 hour to chill it.
  12. 12. Cut the tofu into small cubes.
  13. 13. Distribute the tofu cubes evenly among several glasses.
  14. 14. Pour the cold soy milk carefully over the tofu cubes.
  15. 15. Garnish the drink with fresh chervil.
  16. 16. Serve the soy milk immediately.
