  2. 2. Pat the shrimp dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Wash the bell peppers.
  4. 4. Cut the bell peppers in half lengthwise.
  5. 5. Remove the seeds and white pith from the bell peppers.
  6. 6. Cut the bell peppers into bite-sized pieces.
  7. 7. Thread the shrimp and pepper pieces alternately onto eight skewers.
  8. 8. Peel the garlic.
  9. 9. Finely chop the garlic.
  10. 10. Mix the chopped garlic with the oil and the parsley.
  11. 11. Brush the shrimp and pepper pieces with the oil-garlic mixture.
  12. 12. Place the skewers on the hot grill.
  13. 13. Turn the skewers occasionally.
  14. 14. Grill the skewers for about six minutes.
  15. 15. Brush the skewers with a little oil from time to time.
  16. 16. Season the skewers with salt and pepper at the end.
  17. 17. Serve the skewers garnished with lemon wedges.
