🍽️ Grilled Pineapple and Shrimp Skewers

Ingredients
- 12 large shrimp (kitchen-ready deveined and peeled except for the tail segment)
- 0.25 pineapple
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 lime (juice)
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp brown sugar
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water.
- 2. Pat the shrimp completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Peel the pineapple and cut off the hard bottom part.
- 4. Cut the pineapple flesh into small, bite-sized cubes.
- 5. Thread one pineapple piece and one shrimp alternately onto a wooden skewer.
- 6. Repeat this until you have filled 12 skewers.
- 7. Peel the garlic clove.
- 8. Press the garlic finely.
- 9. Mix the garlic with the lime juice.
- 10. Add the fish sauce to the mixture.
- 11. Add the oil to the mixture.
- 12. Add the sugar to the mixture.
- 13. Stir everything well until a uniform marinade forms.
- 14. Brush the skewers with the marinade.
- 15. Place the skewers in a covered bowl.
- 16. Place the skewers in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.
- 17. Preheat your grill.
- 18. Place the skewers on the hot grill.
- 19. Grill the skewers for 4 to 5 minutes on the first side.
- 20. Turn the skewers and grill them for another 4 to 5 minutes.
- 21. Remove the skewers from the grill.
- 22. Serve the skewers with sweet and spicy chili sauce as desired.
