🍽️ Refreshing Shiso Cucumber Spritz

Ingredients
- Sirup from Red Shiso Leaves (Asian store / health food store)
- 400 ml still mineral water
- 4 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 cucumber
- 1 tsp chopped dill
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- ice cubes
- dill (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the cucumber completely.
- 2. Juice the peeled cucumber using a juicer.
- 3. Pour the cucumber juice into a shaker.
- 4. Add fresh dill sprigs, a pinch of salt, and freshly ground pepper to the shaker.
- 5. Add some ice cubes to the shaker.
- 6. Shake the mixture vigorously until it is well-chilled.
- 7. Strain the liquid through a sieve into cocktail glasses to remove solid ingredients.
- 8. Mix sparkling water with lemon juice and three tablespoons of shiso syrup in a separate bowl.
- 9. Add ice cubes to the glasses containing the cucumber juice.
- 10. Pour the lemon-water mixture over the cucumber juice.
- 11. Garnish the drink with a fresh dill sprig.
- 12. Serve the drink ice-cold.
