Ingredients
- 4 Sesame bagels
- 250 g Quark
- 2 tbsp whipping cream
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped herbs (e.g. cilantro and parsley)
- 1 drop lemon juice
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 1 large apple
Instructions
- 1. Slice the bagels horizontally through the middle.
- 2. Toast the bagel halves briefly if you like.
- 3. Mix the quark with the cream and the herbs in a bowl.
- 4. Season the quark mixture with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- 5. Wash the apple thoroughly under running water.
- 6. Remove the core from the apple.
- 7. Slice the apple into thin slices or shave it thinly.
- 8. Arrange half of the apple slices in a fan shape on the bottom bagel halves.
- 9. Spread the herb quark evenly over the apple slices.
- 10. Top the sandwich with the remaining apple slices.
- 11. Place the top bagel half on top as a lid.
- 12. Serve the sandwich immediately.
