🍽️ Crispy Sesam Potato Halves

Ingredients
- 1 kg new potatoes
- 4 tbsp sunflower oil
- 100 g sesame seeds
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- salt
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the potatoes under running water and scrub them thoroughly clean.
- 2. Pat the potatoes dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Pour the oil into a large bowl.
- 4. Cut the potatoes in half lengthwise.
- 5. Add the potato halves to the bowl with the oil.
- 6. Toss the potatoes in the bowl until they are evenly coated with oil.
- 7. Place the sesame seeds and cayenne pepper on a flat plate.
- 8. Lightly mix the sesame seeds and cayenne pepper together on the plate.
- 9. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 10. Dip the cut side of each potato half into the sesame mixture.
- 11. Place the potatoes on the baking tray with the sesame side facing down, next to each other.
- 12. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- 13. Place the tray in the center of the oven.
- 14. Bake the potatoes for about 15 minutes.
- 15. Remove the tray from the oven.
- 16. Turn the potatoes over.
- 17. Bake the potatoes for another 15 minutes.
- 18. Take the finished potatoes out of the oven.
- 19. Season the potatoes with salt to taste.
- 20. Serve the potatoes as a side dish.
