  3. 3. Pack the cucumber pieces tightly into the jars.
  4. 4. Mix the vinegar with about 200 milliliters of water, salt, spices, and sugar.
  5. 5. Bring the liquid to a boil.
  6. 6. Pour the hot liquid immediately over the cucumbers in the jars.
  7. 7. Make sure all cucumbers are completely covered with liquid.
  8. 8. Seal the jars tightly.
  9. 9. Store the jars in a cool place.
  10. 10. Let the cucumbers marinate for four to six weeks before eating.
