  8. 8. Heat olive oil in a large pot.
  9. 9. Finely chop the shallots and add them to the hot oil.
  10. 10. Sauté the shallots until translucent.
  11. 11. Peel the carrots and cut them into small pieces.
  12. 12. Peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces.
  13. 13. Add the carrots, potatoes, and green peas to the pot.
