🍽️ Crispy Celery Strips Salad with Lemon Dressing

Ingredients
- 2 celeriac
- Iodized salt
- Lemon juice
- Sugar
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 pinch sugar
- Pepper
- 3 tbsp oil
Instructions
- 1. Peel the celeriac completely, removing the tough outer skin.
- 2. Cut the celeriac in half through the center.
- 3. Cut each half into eight equal wedges.
- 4. Slice the wedges into very thin strips or slices.
- 5. Place the cut celery pieces into a pot.
- 6. Add a small splash of water, some lemon juice, one teaspoon of sugar, and a pinch of salt to the celery.
- 7. Cook the celery over medium heat until it is soft.
- 8. Wait until the liquid in the pot has almost completely evaporated.
- 9. Remove the pot from the heat.
- 10. Add a little more sugar, black pepper, vinegar, and oil to the celery.
- 11. Stir the salad vigorously to distribute the dressing evenly.
- 12. Let the salad marinate in the refrigerator for one to two hours.
- 13. This allows the flavors to meld together well.
