Ingredients
- 600 g celery
- 100 ml hot milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- sea salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- nutmeg
Instructions
- 1. Peel the celery stalks.
- 2. Cut the celery into small cubes.
- 3. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
- 4. Add the celery cubes to the boiling water.
- 5. Cook the celery for 20 to 25 minutes until tender.
- 6. Drain the water.
- 7. Press the celery through a potato ricer.
- 8. Let the pressed celery steam briefly until it looks dry.
- 9. Heat the milk in a small saucepan until hot.
- 10. Stir the hot milk into the celery.
- 11. Add the butter cubes to the celery.
- 12. Stir everything well until the butter has melted.
- 13. Season the mash with salt.
- 14. Season the mash with pepper.
- 15. Season the mash with nutmeg.
- 16. Fill the mash into small bowls.
- 17. Chop fresh parsley.
- 18. Sprinkle the parsley over the mash.
- 19. Serve the dish immediately.
