🍽️ Crispy Celery and Carrot Salad with Apple

Ingredients
- 4 Apples
- 250 g Celery root
- 2 Carrots
- 50 g Walnut kernels
- Lemons
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 2 tbsp Fruit vinegar
- 150 g Yogurt
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 125 ml Whipping cream
- 0.5 box Cress
Instructions
- 1. Peel the celery stalks.
- 2. Grate the peeled celery finely.
- 3. Wash the apples thoroughly.
- 4. Cut the apples into quarters.
- 5. Remove the core from the apple pieces.
- 6. Cut the apple pieces into small sticks.
- 7. Drizzle the apple wedges with lemon juice.
- 8. Wash the carrots.
- 9. Peel the carrots.
- 10. Grate the carrots finely.
- 11. Add the grated celery and carrots to a large bowl.
- 12. Add the prepared apple sticks.
- 13. Add the walnuts to the bowl.
- 14. Mix all ingredients well together.
- 15. Add the oil to a small bowl.
- 16. Add the vinegar to the bowl with the oil.
- 17. Add the yogurt to the bowl.
- 18. Add the cream to the bowl.
- 19. Whisk the sauce ingredients vigorously.
- 20. Season the sauce with salt.
- 21. Season the sauce with pepper.
- 22. Gently fold the finished sauce into the salad.
- 23. Let the salad rest for a short while.
- 24. Garnish the salad with cress.
- 25. Serve the salad.
