🍽️ Creamy Celery and Savoy Cabbage Salad with Apple and Cheese

Ingredients
- 0.5 Savoy cabbage
- 1 bunch celery stalks
- 100 g Gouda
- 2 apples
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp raisins
- 80 g walnuts
- 150 g crème fraîche
- 4 tbsp whipping cream
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- paprika powder
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the savoy cabbage under running water.
- 2. Cut out the hard core at the bottom of the savoy cabbage.
- 3. Slice the light green leaves of the savoy cabbage into thin strips.
- 4. Wash the celery stalk under running water.
- 5. Remove the ends and any fibrous strings from the celery.
- 6. Cut the celery into small, bite-sized pieces.
- 7. Wash the apples thoroughly.
- 8. Cut the apples into quarters.
- 9. Remove the core from the apple quarters.
- 10. Dice the apple flesh into small cubes.
- 11. Immediately drizzle the apple cubes with lemon juice to prevent them from browning.
- 12. Remove the rind from the cheese.
- 13. Cut the cheese into small cubes.
- 14. Place the apple cubes, cheese cubes, and celery pieces into a large bowl.
- 15. Add the nuts and raisins to the bowl.
- 16. Mix all ingredients in the bowl thoroughly.
- 17. Whisk together the Creme Fraiche and sour cream in a small container.
- 18. Season the cream mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- 19. Pour the seasoned cream mixture over the fruit and vegetable mixture.
- 20. Arrange the savoy cabbage strips on the serving plates.
- 21. Place the creamy apple-celery mixture on top of the savoy cabbage strips.
- 22. Sprinkle the salad with paprika powder and serve immediately.
