  1. 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water.
  2. 2. Peel the potatoes completely.
  3. 3. Cut the potatoes into sticks with a diameter of about 1 centimeter.
  4. 4. Rinse the potato sticks with cold water.
  5. 5. Dry the potatoes on a kitchen paper towel or a clean cloth.
  6. 6. Mix paprika powder, garlic, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  7. 7. Heat vegetable oil in a pot to about 170 degrees Celsius.
  8. 8. Add the potatoes in batches to the hot oil.
  9. 9. Fry the potatoes for about 5 minutes until they are soft.
  10. 10. Remove the potatoes from the oil before they turn brown.
  11. 11. Increase the oil temperature to about 190 degrees Celsius.
  12. 12. Add the potatoes again in batches to the hot oil.
  13. 13. Fry the potatoes for 2 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy.
  14. 14. Lift the finished fries out of the oil with a slotted spoon.
  15. 15. Let the fries drain well.
  16. 16. Sprinkle the fries with the prepared seasoned salt.
  17. 17. Serve the fries with tomato salsa as desired.
