🍽️ Crispy Homemade French Fries

Ingredients
- 1 kg waxy potatoes
- 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 1 tsp garlic granules
- 1 tbsp salt
- 0.5 tsp pepper
- vegetable oil for frying
- 30 g tomato salsa sauce
Instructions
- 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Peel the potatoes completely.
- 3. Cut the potatoes into sticks with a diameter of about 1 centimeter.
- 4. Rinse the potato sticks with cold water.
- 5. Dry the potatoes on a kitchen paper towel or a clean cloth.
- 6. Mix paprika powder, garlic, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- 7. Heat vegetable oil in a pot to about 170 degrees Celsius.
- 8. Add the potatoes in batches to the hot oil.
- 9. Fry the potatoes for about 5 minutes until they are soft.
- 10. Remove the potatoes from the oil before they turn brown.
- 11. Increase the oil temperature to about 190 degrees Celsius.
- 12. Add the potatoes again in batches to the hot oil.
- 13. Fry the potatoes for 2 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 14. Lift the finished fries out of the oil with a slotted spoon.
- 15. Let the fries drain well.
- 16. Sprinkle the fries with the prepared seasoned salt.
- 17. Serve the fries with tomato salsa as desired.
