  2. 2. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture.
  3. 3. Crumble the yeast into the well.
  4. 4. Mix the yeast with two tablespoons of lukewarm water.
  5. 5. Let the yeast mixture rise for about 30 minutes, covered.
  6. 6. Add about 250 milliliters of lukewarm water and salt to the bowl.
  7. 7. Knead everything into a smooth dough.
  8. 8. Adjust the amount of water if necessary.
  9. 9. Let the dough rise for another 30 minutes, covered.
  10. 10. Preheat the oven to 240 degrees Celsius.
  11. 11. Brush a baking tray with oil.
  12. 12. Shape the dough into a roll on a floured surface.
  13. 13. Divide the roll into 12 equal pieces.
  14. 14. Shape each piece into small rolls.
  15. 15. Place the rolls on the prepared tray.
  16. 16. Let the rolls rise for another 15 minutes.
  17. 17. Brush the rolls with water.
  18. 18. Sprinkle them with seeds if desired.
  19. 19. Place a small bowl of water in the oven.
  20. 20. Bake the rolls for 10 minutes at 240 degrees Celsius.
