  1. 1. Slice the two vanilla pods lengthwise.
  2. 2. Scrape out the seeds from the pods.
  3. 3. Add the vanilla seeds, sugar, honey, and water to a pot.
  4. 4. Bring the mixture to a boil on the stove.
  5. 5. Let the liquid simmer gently for about 20 minutes.
  6. 6. Remove the pot from the heat and let the mixture cool down.
  7. 7. Stir the brandy into the cooled vanilla liquid.
  8. 8. Pour the liqueur into clean bottles.
  9. 9. Place one whole vanilla pod into each bottle.
  10. 10. Seal the bottles tightly.
  11. 11. Store the liqueur in a cool place.
