🍽️ Seitan Peppers

Ingredients
- 250 g seitan
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 4 bell peppers (red, green, yellow)
- 4 radishes
- 2 red onions
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp black sesame
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- ground cumin
- 1 large tomato (e.g. Old German)
- 1 handful cilantro leaves
Instructions
- 1. Cut the seitan into thin strips.
- 2. Mix the seitan strips in a bowl with soy sauce and sesame oil.
- 3. Wash the peppers thoroughly.
- 4. Halve the peppers and remove the seeds and white inner membranes.
- 5. Cut the deseeded peppers into strips.
- 6. Trim and wash the radishes.
- 7. Halve the radishes.
- 8. Peel the onions.
- 9. Halve the onions and slice them into strips.
- 10. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan.
- 11. Sauté the onion strips briefly.
- 12. Add the pepper strips and radishes to the pan.
- 13. Sauté the vegetables for about 2 minutes.
- 14. Remove the vegetables from the pan and set them aside.
- 15. Fry the marinated seitan in the remaining oil, turning it until brown.
- 16. Fold the prepared vegetables into the seitan.
- 17. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the mixture.
- 18. Season everything with salt, pepper, and cumin.
- 19. Wash the tomato.
- 20. Remove the stem area of the tomato.
- 21. Halve the tomato and slice it.
- 22. Distribute the vegetable and seitan mixture onto plates.
- 23. Top the dish with the tomato slices.
- 24. Garnish the dish with fresh coriander.
