🍳 Crunchy Scones with Yogurt

Ingredients
- 250 g flour
- 4 tbsp raisins
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 50 g soft butter
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 egg yolk
- butter
- jam
- 1 cup crème double (150 g)
Instructions
- 1. Soak the raisins in a little warm water.
- 2. Add the dry ingredients to a bowl and mix them well.
- 3. Drain the water from the soaked raisins and add them to the dough.
- 4. Add the yogurt.
- 5. Knead the dough briefly until it holds together.
- 6. Dust a work surface with flour.
- 7. Shape the dough into a rectangle and roll it out to a thickness of about 2.5 centimeters.
- 8. Cut out round shapes with a diameter of about 5 centimeters from the dough.
- 9. Place the scones on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 10. Whisk the egg yolk.
- 11. Brush the scones carefully with the egg yolk.
- 12. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- 13. Bake the scones for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
- 14. Lightly whip the double cream.
- 15. Serve the warm scones with butter, jam, and the whipped cream.
- 16. Serve with a cup of tea.
