  4. 4. Cut the bell pepper in half and remove the core with the seeds.
  5. 5. Cut the deseeded bell pepper into long, thin strips.
  6. 6. Wash the cucumber and grate it finely using a grater.
  7. 7. Wash the chives and cut them into small rings.
  8. 8. Place all prepared ingredients into a large bowl.
  9. 9. Whisk the dressing ingredients vigorously with a fork.
  10. 10. Pour the dressing evenly over the salad.
  11. 11. Serve the salad alongside fresh bread and butter.
