  3. 3. Heat oil in a pan.
  4. 4. Sauté the onion and garlic mixture briefly until translucent.
  5. 5. Stir in ketchup, a little water, and vinegar.
  6. 6. Add sugar, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  7. 7. Bring the sauce to a boil.
  8. 8. Reduce the heat to medium.
  9. 9. Simmer the sauce half-covered for about 15 minutes.
  10. 10. Stir occasionally.
  11. 11. Remove the sauce from the heat when it reaches the desired consistency.
  12. 12. Finally, adjust the seasoning of the sauce to taste.
  13. 13. Rinse the pork ribs.
  14. 14. Pat the ribs dry.
  15. 15. Brush the ribs with some of the prepared sauce.
  16. 16. Let the ribs rest for about 30 minutes.

  18. 18. Set the grill to low heat.
  19. 19. Keep a sufficient distance from the coals.
