  2. 2. Finely chop the onion and garlic.
  3. 3. Heat oil in a pan.
  4. 4. Sauté the onion and garlic mixture in the hot oil briefly until translucent.
  5. 5. Add ketchup, a little water, and vinegar to the pan.
  6. 6. Stir in sugar, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  7. 7. Bring the sauce to a boil.
  8. 8. Reduce the heat to medium.
  9. 9. Cover the pan halfway.
  10. 10. Let the sauce simmer gently for about 15 minutes.
  11. 11. Stir the sauce occasionally.
  12. 12. Remove the sauce from the heat once it reaches the desired consistency.
  13. 13. Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if needed.
  14. 14. Rinse the pork ribs under running water.
  15. 15. Pat the ribs dry with a kitchen towel.
  16. 16. Brush the ribs lightly with a little of the prepared sauce.
  17. 17. Preheat the grill and set it to low heat.
