🍽️ Pork Sandwiches with Garlic Aioli

Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 egg yolk
- salt
- 80 ml olive oil
- 1 drop lemon juice
- 50 g arugula
- 100 g pickled red peppers (jar)
- 1 small red onion
- 1 baguette (with poppy seeds, approx. 320 g)
- 300 g cold sliced roast pork (from pork)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 2. Press the garlic paste into a small bowl using a garlic press.
- 3. Stir the egg yolk and a pinch of salt into the garlic sauce.
- 4. Whisk the olive oil with a whisk.
- 5. Stir the oil into the egg yolk mixture drop by drop.
- 6. Gradually increase the oil stream to a thin stream.
- 7. Add the lemon juice once the sauce is thick and creamy.
- 8. Season the aioli to taste.
- 9. Wash the arugula under running water.
- 10. Remove the tough stems from the arugula.
- 11. Shake the greens dry.
- 12. Let the peppers drain on kitchen paper.
- 13. Peel the onion.
- 14. Slice the onion into thin rings.
- 15. Slice the baguette lengthwise.
- 16. Spread both halves of the bread with the aioli.
- 17. Top the sandwich with the sliced meat.
- 18. Add the arugula leaves.
- 19. Add the peppers.
- 20. Add the onion rings.
- 21. Place the top bun on.
- 22. Cut the sandwich into four equal pieces.
- 23. Secure the pieces with toothpicks.
- 24. Serve the sandwiches on a plate.
