Ingredients

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 160 degrees Celsius using the top and bottom heat setting.
  2. 2. Rinse the pork fillet under cold water, pat it dry with a kitchen towel, and remove any visible fat edges and sinew.
  3. 3. Coat the meat evenly with one tablespoon of peanut oil and season it generously with salt and black pepper.
  4. 4. Sear the meat on all sides in an oven-safe pan. Remove it from the pan, brush it with the remaining peanut oil, roll it in sesame seeds spread on a plate, and place it in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes until cooked through.
  5. 5. Wash the Thai basil and mint and shake them dry. Pluck the leaves from the stems and chop them finely. Mix the herbs with chili sauce, lime juice, and soy sauce, and season the mixture vigorously with salt, pepper, and sugar.
  6. 6. Slice the sesame-crusted pork fillet, arrange the slices on a platter, and serve them together with the Asian dip and fresh Thai basil.
