  1. 1. Peel half of the banana.
  2. 2. Roughly chop the banana.
  3. 3. Place the banana in a tall container.
  4. 4. Add the yogurt.
  5. 5. Pour in the milk.
  6. 6. Blend the mixture with a hand blender until frothy.
  7. 7. Pour half of the yogurt-milk mixture into a glass.
  8. 8. Stir this half well with the cocoa powder.
  9. 9. Mix the chocolate mixture with the chocolate shavings.
  10. 10. Finely chop the walnuts.
  11. 11. Stir the walnuts into the remaining yogurt-milk mixture.
  12. 12. Hold a spoon back over the glass with the chocolate mixture.
  13. 13. Slowly let the walnut mixture flow over the back of the spoon into the glass.
  14. 14. Serve the smoothie with a thick straw.
