Ingredients
- 4 Plaice (á approx. 400 g, ready for kitchen)
- Juice of one Lemon
- 200 g Bacon
- 200 g Crab meat
- Butter (for frying)
- Oil (for frying)
- 1 Lemon
- 0.5 Bunch Parsley
- Salt
- Pepper
- Flour (for dredging)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the bacon into small, fine cubes.
- 2. Rinse the crab meat under cold water and then pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Wash the parsley and shake off excess water.
- 4. Finely chop the parsley.
- 5. Rinse the plaice under cold water and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 6. Drizzle the fish with lemon juice.
- 7. Season the fish with salt and pepper.
- 8. Lightly coat the fish in flour, ensuring they are dusted thinly.
- 9. Heat a large non-stick pan.
- 10. Fry the bacon until crispy.
- 11. Remove the bacon from the pan and set it aside.
- 12. Add some butter and oil to the same pan.
- 13. Fry the plaice on both sides for about 3 minutes over medium heat.
- 14. Remove the fish from the pan and keep them warm.
- 15. Add the crab meat, the reserved bacon, and the chopped parsley to the pan.
- 16. Sauté the mixture briefly.
- 17. Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of butter.
- 18. Plate the plaice.
- 19. Distribute the bacon-crab butter over the fish.
- 20. Garnish the dish with lemon slices.
