🍽️ Chocolate Waffles with Creamy Banana Yogurt

Ingredients
- 40 g Margarine
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 Egg
- 75 g Quark
- 75 g Wheat Flour Type 1050
- 10 g Oat Flakes (1 tbsp)
- 10 g Cocoa Powder (1 tbsp)
- 1 pinch Baking Powder
- 110 ml Milk (1,5 % Fat)
- 125 g small ripe Bananas (1 small ripe Banana)
- 125 g Yogurt (1,5 % Fat)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your waffle iron.
- 2. Put margarine and honey into a mixing bowl.
- 3. Whisk the mixture until fluffy using a hand mixer.
- 4. Separate one egg into yolk and white.
- 5. Stir the egg yolk and quark (a type of fresh cheese) into the margarine-honey mixture.
- 6. Mix flour, oat flakes, cocoa powder, and baking powder in a second bowl.
- 7. Stir the dry ingredients into the egg yolk mixture.
- 8. Add milk and stir until a thick batter forms.
- 9. Whip the egg white until it forms stiff peaks.
- 10. Gently fold the egg white into the batter.
- 11. Bake four waffles one after the other in the preheated iron.
- 12. Peel a banana and mash it finely with a fork.
- 13. Mix the banana with yogurt in a small bowl.
- 14. Serve the banana yogurt together with the waffles.
