🍰 Creamy Chocolate Pudding

Ingredients
- 125 g dark chocolate block
- 3 tsp sugar
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 0.5 l milk
- 1 egg
Instructions
- 1. Break off a small piece of the chocolate bar and set it aside.
- 2. Roughly chop the rest of the chocolate block into pieces.
- 3. Mix the sugar with the cornstarch in a small bowl.
- 4. Pour five tablespoons of the milk into the sugar and cornstarch mixture.
- 5. Stir the mixture until smooth and free of lumps.
- 6. Heat the remaining milk in a pot.
- 7. Add the chopped chocolate to the hot milk.
- 8. Stir continuously until the chocolate has completely melted.
- 9. Bring the chocolate milk to a brief boil.
- 10. Remove the pot from the heat.
- 11. Pour the prepared sugar and cornstarch mixture into the hot chocolate milk.
- 12. Stir vigorously to ensure the cornstarch is evenly distributed.
- 13. Let the mixture boil once more briefly.
- 14. Remove the pot from the heat again.
- 15. Separate the egg so that the yolk and white are distinct.
- 16. Whisk the egg yolk in a small bowl.
- 17. Stir the whisked egg yolk into the warm chocolate mixture.
- 18. Beat the egg white in a clean bowl until stiff peaks form.
- 19. Let the chocolate mixture cool down for a few minutes.
- 20. Gently fold the egg whites into the cooled mixture.
- 21. Rinse four pudding molds with cold water.
- 22. Fill the pudding molds with the mixture.
- 23. Let the puddings cool down completely.
- 24. Grate the reserved piece of chocolate finely.
- 25. Sprinkle the finished puddings with the grated chocolate.
