🍽️ Crunchy Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients
- 125 g dark chocolate
- 150 g flour
- 25 g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 50 g soft butter
- 80 g light cane sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 4 tbsp milk
- 3 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions
- 1. Break the chocolate into small pieces.
- 2. Place a bowl with the chocolate pieces over a pot with simmering water.
- 3. Stir the chocolate gently until it is completely melted.
- 4. Remove the bowl from the pot and set it aside.
- 5. Beat the butter with the sugar in a large bowl until creamy.
- 6. Add the egg and the vanilla to the butter-sugar mixture.
- 7. Add the melted chocolate and mix everything well.
- 8. Sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt over the mixture.
- 9. Pour in the milk.
- 10. Stir the dough briefly until it just comes together.
- 11. Cover the bowl.
- 12. Place the dough in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
- 13. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- 14. Take small portions of the dough.
- 15. Shape each portion into a ball with a diameter of about 2 centimeters.
- 16. Roll the dough balls in powdered sugar.
- 17. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 18. Place the balls on the tray with some space between them.
- 19. Place the tray in the center of the oven.
- 20. Bake the cookies for about 15 minutes.
- 21. Remove the tray from the oven.
- 22. Place the cookies on a wire cooling rack.
- 23. Let the cookies cool down completely.
