🍽️ Creamy Chocolate Banana Shake with Chickpeas

Ingredients
- 50 g chickpeas (can; drained weight)
- 150 g bananas (1 banana)
- 2 tbsp ground hazelnuts (30 g)
- 50 g fine oat flakes
- 1 tsp flaxseed meal
- 1 tsp hazelnut butter
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder (15 g; highly defatted)
- 400 ml oat drink (oat milk)
Instructions
- 1. Open the can of chickpeas and pour the contents into a colander.
- 2. Rinse the chickpeas under cold running water.
- 3. Let the chickpeas drain well in the colander.
- 4. Peel the banana.
- 5. Cut the banana into small pieces.
- 6. Cut four thin slices from the banana.
- 7. Set aside the four banana slices and a small amount of ground hazelnuts.
- 8. Place the drained chickpeas into a blender.
- 9. Add the remaining banana pieces to the blender.
- 10. Add the oat flakes to the blender.
- 11. Add the flaxseeds to the blender.
- 12. Add the hazelnut butter to the blender.
- 13. Add the whole hazelnuts to the blender.
- 14. Add the cocoa powder to the blender.
- 15. Pour the oat milk into the blender.
- 16. Blend all ingredients with the mixer until a fine and creamy mixture forms.
- 17. Pour the shake into two glasses.
- 18. Garnish each shake with the four banana slices.
- 19. Sprinkle the ground hazelnuts over the shake.
